Halar is a copolymer of ethylene and CTFE. It offers unique mechanical proper-

ties - it is very strong, stiff, and impact resistant, and has excellent thermal and

chemical properties. It is easily weldable and thermoformable. Halar offers full

Semicon chemical resistance, and is resistant to chemicals pH0-14, oxidizers,

solvents, and chloro-alkali chemicals. It has excellent resistance to chemical

permeation, and is ultrapure wetted parts suitable. Halar should be considered

before resorting to a fully fluorinated polymer. It is the material of choice for the

semicon industry.
